All businesses work in basically the same way using the same model. You (the business owner) provides a service or product to your customers that solves a problem for that customer. The customer in turn pays you in exchange for making their life easier by solving their problem. That’s all there is to it in the big picture. Your potential customers have a problem and they will pay to get tha problem solved. You offer a solution to the customer that brings value because they no longer have to live with the problem. If you understand this simple idea then you can make money fast on the internet.

Let’s show this with some examples. In grocery store the customer is hungry and the grocer provides food to solve that problem which the shopper buys. In a gas station the owner of the car needs gas and the station provides it. Problem-no gasoline, solution-sell gasoline. With an online book store the customer wants to read stories or learn some information. The bookstore owner solves that problem by offering a selection of books which fulfill the reader’s wants. These are all basic problem/solution examples.

This is how all businesses work. Is there a business that does not? Whenever money changes hands in business there is a problem that needs to be solved. There really is no point in a business if it is not giving value which means a way to fulfill a need. This is fundamental to all businesses including an internet business opportunity.

Now the question for you when thinking of your online business. What problem will your business solve for your customers. Is the answer to that question on the tip of your tongue ready to jump off? Or do you have to think about it? This is the most important question you can answer in your business life. This must be the focus of your marketing actions. The problem and solution is really the only thing that matters for your success. If you can’t answer without thinking then you must hold up now. Fill in the blanks, “I will give my customers ____________ and I will get _________in exchange”.

How these fit together must be evident if you want a successful online business. This knowledge is the basis for everything you do in your online business opportunity. In order to be effective, you must understand what problem you are solving. Otherwise every decision you make is just a guess.

The only reason people will give you money is if you give a solution that is in their best interest. The customer expects to get something back. The problem/solution must also drive your product solution. How can you know what to offer for sale if you don’t know what your customers are hungry for? Lastly, the solution determines how you will interact with your customers. If you are a local house painter you will interact face to face, if you are selling books online you will interact through your web page.
